Ijeoma Ukachukwu, DNP, PMHNP-BC, WHNP, CNM

Dr. Ukachukwu is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and triple-certified clinician — a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, and Certified Nurse Midwife. That combination shapes how she practices: mental health, hormonal health, and reproductive care are treated as connected, not separate.

Sessions start with your full story — history, symptoms, sleep, stress, relationships, and life context — before any conversation about diagnosis or medication. She explains her thinking in plain language and works through treatment decisions with you rather than for you.

How care works

  1. 1

    Initial evaluation

A thorough first session covering your history, current symptoms, and what's brought you to seek care. No need to have it all figured out beforehand.

  2. 2

    A shared plan

Any diagnosis under consideration is explained clearly. If medication may help, the options are discussed together so the decision feels right for you.

  3. 3

    Ongoing care

Regular check-ins to see what's working, adjust as needed, and support the practical side of daily life — sleep, stress, and routines.
